Delaware Art Museum houses an extensive collection of works by Ashcan School artist John Sloan, including the artist's personal library, photographs, letters, and diaries. The exhibition focuses on Sloan's images of New York from 1905 through the 1940s. In his paintings and etchings, Sloan captured variety of local celebrities, as well as intellectual and political figures of the community.
